[Don't just stack books on him, jesus. Ling objects to that but not being draped all over (there's no such thing as boundaries after body sharing, agreed), but it's time to look at these awful drawings instead. He looks at each of Greed's pages before shifting the books around to flip through his own.

It really is a Promised Day montage, here, with plenty of the same images, and Ling hesitates when he reaches the end (going backwards, so the beginning, but details) because if there isn't a Greed memory before all of this then it's going to be Lan Fan losing her arm and he doesn't want to confront that again, even in crayon scribbles.

But okay, flipping the page reveals... not Bido's death, but oddly enough the jumble of memories of the rest of Greed's gang he'd seen at that time. It must be chronological for each of them, but still—these books just keep getting better and better.]


These must have been confusing to put together. [Should've given them an omnibus edition!! He lifts the corner of the next page and then puts it back down; it's not Lan Fan, it's worse... it's a shoe.]
