Prompt 1: t's probably been at least a little while since you managed to climb out of the well, so hopefully you've dried off by now and are enjoying poking around the Town. But who cares about all of that? More importantly, the Town has a new feature this time, for reasons entirely unknown to everyone. The flowers...seem to be talking. They have no faces, but they will definitely turn to talk to you, and if they have had their color restored, they will very brightly and contentedly compliment you, or your clothing, or wish you well. If they haven't? Prepare yourself for all sorts of horrible, horrible insults, because that's all that's coming your way. Prompt 2: ow are you settling in? Is the Town treating you well? It's not as bad as it used to be; some of the houses have color, some of the food has color and taste as well. It's been polished up a bit since everyone first got here. Granted, when you wake up that morning to find yourself in full fancy wear of many different types (all colorless, and gender has nothing to do with which you might end up in), you'll find that the Town might not be as well put together as it seems. You can't get out of the formal wear. It just won't come off, no matter what you do. Which wouldn't be so bad, but... it seems like these clothes will snag on just about everything in the Town, which is far from smooth. Try not to trip over those loose cobblestones, or your dress snagging on a nail sticking out from a door frame. This is really not the place for this sort of clothing. Prompt 3: e loves me, he loves me not... that's a pretty familiar game, right? For some reason, the urge to pick one of those flowers and casually pluck the petals from it while playing that game is going to grow stronger and stronger the more flowers you see. Eventually? You're just going to have to cave to it. (Certainly it doesn't help that the flowers scream a bit when you pull their petals; they still can talk right now, after all!) She loves you, she loves you not...and by the time you've picked the last petal, you've forgotten who you were even thinking of originally -- instead, the very next person you see is going to be the victim of a very impassioned declaration of love. Don't worry, you'll come back to yourself...after you declare your undying love for everyone to hear. Prompt 4: ut no matter how many people tell you not to go into the forest, however, it's still rather enticing, isn't it? It's sitting right there, waiting for you to explore it, waiting for you to just step a little bit out of the Town... And soon, you're surrounded by the dark boughs of the trees, the twisty, turny paths of the woods, where it feels like you're wandering in circles for hours upon hours -- And then, after ages of tree branches yanking at your hair and roots tripping you up, you find a clearing. And in that clearing? There's a field of flowers. They're colorless -- strangely eerie because of it, but still distinctly recognizable to the flower familiar as Asphodel. And touching any single one of those flowers will suddenly give you vivid memories of one of your precious friends -- so long as they're dead. Anyone around you is going to experience that flash of memory too, so be careful! Extra: Got something in mind? Want to play with the setting more? it's a whole bunch of things that stir in her, hearing that. it hurts... but it doesn't, at the same time? the reassurance that her presence is a pleasant thing for him, that she can continue to speak to him and hear those reassurances--mixed with the heavy reality in the background.

she should focus on the present, shouldn't she?

it isn't like she needs to worry about that right now. is that wrong?

the response still comes so easily when she turns to speak to him with a small smile, despite it all. ]

[He emphasizes the point by pointing at his own smiling face, then goes to untangle his comrade without another word. Because of course he'd have to make a pun with his own name and not explain it.]

Why is it that that is exactly the same thing but it sounds better? [He sighs.] We've been doing...a lot? Like I do not even know where to start, Rose. We have been keeping busy. We're raising fire-breathing geese that may not actually breathe fire anymore?

[Start small and go easy on him, Rose. He has a lot of things going on in his head.]

If I can't heal them, make them right... I can at least listen.

I've got like five of these left? None of the other stuff.

[ For a second, they are tense and rigid.

But as Phos speaks, their body language changes. Their features soften, and they allow the hints of a smile to spread across their face. Yet they don't respond to their question, as if unwilling to go further than the surface of the issue. They choose a tangent, instead. ]

Would you help me replant this, Phos? You mentioned making the gray ones colorful- would the colorful flowers complimenting them help?

[Minato might have a bit of an idea of where Aigis' thoughts are--but he won't call her on it. Maybe eventually they'll have to address the elephant in the room, but now... he doesn't think now is the time.

Anyway, have you ever heard of kotodama? See, I'm kinda wondering what the similarities and differences are between what we can do.

It made me see... an old friend. The memories weren't all bad, but they weren't all good, either.

[And though he hates to admit it, part of him wanted to stay not just to warn others off, but because there might be a chance he could see more memories. Like a moth to a flame: even if it hurts to touch, he can't help but be drawn to it. Aizawa's arrival was the one thing to snap him out of it.]

Kohaku didn't exactly have large ... assets, but because of the corset what she did have was quite exaggerated. Between that and the stiffness of the corset and dress in general, it was difficult to see below a certain point.

[ Ghost tries to mimic them, but it's too difficult with one arm. It doesn't work, so they just end up making Cairngorm have to wait for them- which they don't mind as much as they should. Still, they follow Cairngorm's lead (albeit begrudgingly) and keep their gaze on them. ]

I'm glad to be of service, Dia. [ They notice whatever hesitation Dia's displayed, but don't acknowledge it. Their mind fills with reasons for why they'd hesitate, and none of it is kind to themself.

What were things like with Sensei before you arrived here? [ They've already had two people from their world give different accounts of "the last thing that happened." Knowing could be helpful. ]

[Well, those are handy... But not without the rest of the drugs they need. Guren has his demon suppressing drug in a fair supply here, but it's going to run out a lot quicker with both of them using it. Ryo was supposed to be working on an alternative...]
