[There is an irony to the fact that there are two tigers in these woods, and both of them are actually humans, and neither one knows that the other one is anything more than just a regular tiger.

As the tiger cub approaches, Jake tries to remember just what it is that tigers do in the wild, when interacting with their young. Well — this one isn't really his young, but — you know. Figuratively. There was something about adult tigers pretending to be hurt by their cubs' play, right? To teach them or...something. Uh. Right...

Ultimately, he settles for doing something that he's almost never done while in tiger form: easing himself down into a lounging position, with his legs stretched out and his body rolled slightly onto its side, acting relaxed and vaguely inviting while the cub draws near.]
