Not sure it has a great deal of meaning but it's one of the few things he's given me. [ One of the few things his father could give him because what Nico really wanted not even Hades himself could gift. Nico isn't searching for more power in a way that makes him dangerous even to those who would be considered a friend. Merely to ensure he can protect those he cares about so he doesn't have to lose anyone else.

From what Nico has seen of this world it isn't unusual for people of all ages to wield weapons and the Mist isn't bothering to hide his from mortals. What that means, he isn't too sure but at least this guy gives him a "be careful" line rather than trying to take it away. ]

That isn't something you need to remind me about. [ Most of the time he draws his sword on monsters, opponents where it's 'kill or be killed'. ]

Should we try burning it or should I just cut it down?
