It wasn't that bad. [He says, as a person who definitely did both of those things.] I mean the pit was pretty terrible since we had to fight until somebody got knocked unconscious but other than that it was what you'd expect. As far as I can tell the good thing is you don't have to actually do these quests if you really don't want to.
