[ Naruto hasn't even bothered to check his surroundings for people, hence why neither Sasuke's presence nor his signature have registered on Naruto's radar. Let's be honest, a road lined by flowers isn't really cause for concern, but as soon as he hears a voice speak up, he's already hearing a voice chastising him for letting his guard down.

Plenty of people call him loser, but no-one calls him loser like that; with that particular bored intonation but still with a barely there viciousness that makes Naruto's blood want to boil; or maybe that's what he tells himself to avoid acknowledging the little jump his heart does at the sound of the word and the way his blood goes a bit cold. He whips round, understandably surprised, gawping at the figure on the roof of the well for a long moment.
Then, like something valuable falling in slow motion, his expression morphs into another. Confusion hits first, his brow furrowing as he tries to pin together what he knows with what he's seeing, taking in the lack of an arm, the hair, the face, the height, everything that's familiar and yet isn't in a distinct enough way to make him feel kind of off kilter. Then, it goes to anger. Which, again, is kind of understandable. In fact he's being pretty reasonable about all this. ]
Sasuke?! [ He yells - like full on yells - after a long moment of silence, so his voice echoes like a bark. He sounds like he's accusing him, which he kind of is, asking him a question, which he kind of is, and telling him off, which he kind of is, all at the same time. In a moment or two he's got to his feet and is standing by the well looking up at the man - the man!!!! - looking down at him. ]
