Prompt 1: t's probably been at least a little while since you managed to climb out of the well, so hopefully you've dried off by now and are enjoying poking around the Town. But who cares about all of that? More importantly, the Town has a new feature this time, for reasons entirely unknown to everyone. The flowers...seem to be talking. They have no faces, but they will definitely turn to talk to you, and if they have had their color restored, they will very brightly and contentedly compliment you, or your clothing, or wish you well. If they haven't? Prepare yourself for all sorts of horrible, horrible insults, because that's all that's coming your way. Prompt 2: ow are you settling in? Is the Town treating you well? It's not as bad as it used to be; some of the houses have color, some of the food has color and taste as well. It's been polished up a bit since everyone first got here. Granted, when you wake up that morning to find yourself in full fancy wear of many different types (all colorless, and gender has nothing to do with which you might end up in), you'll find that the Town might not be as well put together as it seems. You can't get out of the formal wear. It just won't come off, no matter what you do. Which wouldn't be so bad, but... it seems like these clothes will snag on just about everything in the Town, which is far from smooth. Try not to trip over those loose cobblestones, or your dress snagging on a nail sticking out from a door frame. This is really not the place for this sort of clothing. Prompt 3: e loves me, he loves me not... that's a pretty familiar game, right? For some reason, the urge to pick one of those flowers and casually pluck the petals from it while playing that game is going to grow stronger and stronger the more flowers you see. Eventually? You're just going to have to cave to it. (Certainly it doesn't help that the flowers scream a bit when you pull their petals; they still can talk right now, after all!) She loves you, she loves you not...and by the time you've picked the last petal, you've forgotten who you were even thinking of originally -- instead, the very next person you see is going to be the victim of a very impassioned declaration of love. Don't worry, you'll come back to yourself...after you declare your undying love for everyone to hear. Prompt 4: ut no matter how many people tell you not to go into the forest, however, it's still rather enticing, isn't it? It's sitting right there, waiting for you to explore it, waiting for you to just step a little bit out of the Town... And soon, you're surrounded by the dark boughs of the trees, the twisty, turny paths of the woods, where it feels like you're wandering in circles for hours upon hours -- And then, after ages of tree branches yanking at your hair and roots tripping you up, you find a clearing. And in that clearing? There's a field of flowers. They're colorless -- strangely eerie because of it, but still distinctly recognizable to the flower familiar as Asphodel. And touching any single one of those flowers will suddenly give you vivid memories of one of your precious friends -- so long as they're dead. Anyone around you is going to experience that flash of memory too, so be careful! Extra: Got something in mind? Want to play with the setting more? [After wonderfully coping with everything, there had to be a time of breakdown. Oh yeah, Aqua managed to survive on fake smiles and fake good feelings for a short time. But being stuck in a dress that wasn't hers (its a personal issue) and dealing with not having her single emotional support (not that he counted), it went too far.

Yes, she was more than willing to grab a random person and start having a mix of screaming and sobbing. And in no way, was it 'cute'. At best, it was annoying.]

[While easily resisted, she's shaking whoever she's grabbed a hold of in a non-polite manner.]

[Aqua had no one she actually loved or even felt an attraction to. But she couldn't help but pluck a flower and start mercilessly taking out its petals.

Screaming? That's entirely ignored. This goddess of water was, in actuality, entirely merciless. All that she cares about is finishing pulling off all she could. And once she's done...]

...are you going to be my true saviour?

[Yes, she's looking right at you.]

[ zelda has just been staring at the flowers for a while, unsure if she should pluck or not, and so she's completely caught off-guard when this girl comes up to her. and, well... ]

I'm sorry I don't think I heard you correctly. Did you... ask me to be your "true savior"?

[Aqua slaps on her cutest voice, absolutely confident in it. Though, she really shouldn't be. Still, she raises a finger, as if she's making a point.]

That's what I meant. All goddesses need a prophet or a saviour. And I happen to be among them!

[It's not an appealing line but the best she can do at any point.]

[ her brow furrows and she's trying to think of ways to let her down gently, if only because she's not fit to be anyone's savior. but-- ]

For what purpose do you need a savior in these lands? You're not in any danger.

[Aqua's brows crinkle a little. Very noticeable but she reverts back to normal, hopefully being enticing.]

A deity always needs an Avatar. Without that, we can't act in mortal affairs.

[She thinks.]

Well you're not wrong. [ given hylia chose to reincarnate and be reborn as a mortal, zelda's oldest ancestor, there's really no way she can argue that point. ] However, I'm not certain I am fit to take on that role for you.

Goddess Aqua, I, Zelda, will humbly assist you in whatever you wish to accomplish in this town. So long as you work for the good of the mortal souls who live here, I will dutifully act by your side.

[Said with a self-righteous tone dripping with pompousness. The Avatar part was useless because she couldn't really bestow anything like that.]

Goddess, I apologize for being the bearer of bad news to you, but there is no way for you to return to your realm at the present moment. Everyone here has been taken from their homes and we have no secure means of leaving.

[ demon kings sounds perfectly in line for this realm so far. zelda sighs and carefully squats down to get to aqua's level on the ground. ]

[She stops, going from screaming level of distraught to shocked level of distraught.]

Interest? But I don't even have money. Why did a goddess like me show up in yet another world without money?

Bad luck...that's right.

[But the words do spark an idea in her mind. She may be dumb, lazy, and all kinds of terrible adjectives but when it comes to money, she's willing to do what she can to keep it.]

Don't run off just yet, I've got a better idea! You seem like a gambling man. What if I just gave you my blessings instead? You'd definitely double your luck stat, which would mean you'd never lose. Wouldn't that be worth a payment?

[ he frowns at her. a luck stat. what is this, some kind of game? but more than that, luck isn't really something he needs when he makes his own. ]

I'm not a gambling man. And at this rate you'll be needing my blessings instead of the other way around.

I am the goddess of water and an archpriest. How about a free resurrection in the future? That's an absolute bargain.

Nobody dies here. [ he's shocked about this too, but here they are. ] The resurrection comes at the town's expense and is available to everyone.

You don't....need resurrection?

[There's a short pause and then, yep, she's back to screeching.]

I can make water, I can kill undead, I can do something! Anything! Just don't leave me to suffer!!!
