Hello! Ari is unfortunately a boy (a kind of girly-looking one? which sadly doesn't count) but he's been wanting to help out in town and Zelda seems like the type of person to get stuff done, so maybe he can chip in? Or you can feed him elixirs, I would personally find that hilarious.

As for helping out around town, Zelda is focusing on making the Church look half-way decent again and might look into other places to brighten up. If you wanna do something with that I'm open to it!
He'd be glad to help her out with the Church stuff!! Back home his village had what I think is The Only Church in his world, and I would be stunned if he didn't chip in to help clean up there at some point because people usually dump chores on him so he wouldn't mind.
Maybe once they know each other a little the elixir testing could be a thing, unless you have enough takers already which in case no big deal!
I'd love to do elixir testing with Ari at another point! The church sounds like a good place to start, and we can even have them run into each other during the event depending on what it turns out to be. Do you mind if I add you on plurk?
